Can I get pregnant without penetration during sex? Yes. Penetration is when the penis enters the vagina. Anytime that you get sperm even close to the vagina there is the possiblity of getting pregnant. Good question. Can I get pregnant having oral sex? No. You cannot get pregnant by giving or receiving oral sex, BUT you can get an STD which could include HIV/Aids. Can I get pregnant even though I've never had a peiod yet? Yes. There is a possibility that you can get pregnant even though you have not started your period. Your ovulation cycle could have started prior to you having your first period and if you have sex during this time you could become pregnant. Anytime you have sex you run the risk of becoming pregnant. How soon after sex can I take a pregnancy test and have it be accurate? Most doctors recommend that you wait until the first day of your missed period. A missed period is usually one of the signs of a missed period. There are some pregnancy tests that are more sensisitve and can detect pregnancy sooner. PCC offers free pregnancy tests.
